Yvonne Stephens

Yvonne Stephens, age 84, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born on October 22, 1941, in Leeland, Mississippi, to her loving parents, the late Earl Lee Singleton and Genevea Jiles Singleton.

Yvonne was the beloved wife of the late Willie T. Stephens, with whom she shared 37 wonderful years of marriage until his passing on March 27, 2009. She was a devoted mother to Annette R. Rodriguez, Donnette R. Lewis, and Anthony E. Singleton, all of Cleveland, Ohio; Charles Singleton (Dolly Carballo-Singleton) of Naples, Florida; and Tara Gaines (Gregory Gaines) of Daytona Beach, Florida.

She was a cherished grandmother of 21 grandchildren, and was preceded in death by Daryl Patron Singleton, Jason Michael Singleton, Selena Lisette Singleton, and Anthony Zakee Johnson. Yvonne was also blessed with 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was a loving godmother to two godchildren, cared deeply for two foster children, and leaves behind a host of cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Yvonne will be remembered for her love of family, her caring spirit, and the warmth she shared with everyone who knew her.
