Wilmarie Diaz

Wilmarie Diaz, a radiant soul whose warmth and joy touched the lives of all who knew her, passed away on May 6, 2024, at the age of 42. Born on July 18, 1981, in Cayey, Puerto Rico, Wilmarie was the cherished daughter of William Diaz-Rosa and Maribel Reyes. She was lovingly raised by Iris Melendez, who embraced her as her own daughter, guiding her with care and affection.

A devoted mother, Wilmarie leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Wilkins Ginorio Jr. (Lizzette), Adamaris Ginorio (Maddison), and Alexander Ginorio. She found immense joy in her role as a grandmother, doting on Hazel, Luna, Jaylen, Aracelis, and Alianis.

Wilmarie's siblings, Carlos Diaz, Elsie Diaz, and William Diaz Jr., as well as her numerous nieces and nephews, held a special place in her heart. She was a beloved niece to her extended family, embodying love and support in every interaction. 

Wilmarie's spirit was as vibrant as her passions. She found solace in the art of modeling, the rhythm of dance, and the melody of music. Her favorite mantra, "I'm good, I'm fine," reflected her unwavering positivity and resilience.

Those who knew Wilmarie will remember her infectious smile and unwavering optimism. She exuded happiness and radiated love, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In her final moments, Wilmarie expressed her gratitude to her father, whose unwavering care sustained her, and to her children, whom she adored unconditionally. To them, she leaves a legacy of love and acceptance, reminding them that they were always perfect in her eyes. 

Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 12 p.m. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
