Wilma Hawkins, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away on August 15, 2025, in North Royalton, Ohio. She was born on March 29, 1940, in Danridge, Tennesse. Wilma's virbant spirt and kind heart touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.
Wilma was the beloved daughter of the late Lloyd and Zella (nee Williams) Stinnett, and was the cherished wife of the late Dallas Hawkins. She will be deeply missed by her devoted family, including her children, Robert "P-Nut" (Mary), and Bryan (Joyce) Hawkins and Robin Matthiesen (Rick) who shared countless memories filled with laughter and support; as well as her grandchildren, Shannon, Michelle, Tonya, Jason, Alisha, Cheyenne, BJ, Genna, Terry, as well as many great-grandchildren; and loved by many family and friends. She was predeceased by her sons, David and Gerald, whose absence remains a profound mark on the family's heart.
Throughout her life, Wilma embodied a spirit of kindness, often inspiring those around her with positivity and compassion. Her ability to connect with others brought joy not only to her family, but also to her friends who regarded her as a source of strength and encouragement.
Those who had the blessings of knowing Wilma will remember her for her unwavering dedication to her family and her genuine love for her friends. Her legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her, a reminder of her profound impact on all who crossed her path.
As we bid farewell to Wilma, we celebrate a life well-lived-filled with cherished moments, enduring love, and countless friendships. Her spirit will forever be a part of the beauitful tapestry of memories she leaves behind, continuing to inspire and guide us.
