William “Bill” G. Loomer aka Buttons

Bill entered into his eternal slumber on September 23rd, 2025. Bill was a true friend, a loving and dear father, a supportive brother, and a loving husband.
He is preceded in death by his mother Theresa, father Albert, and step-fathers Rafael, and Weldon “Smitty”; his eldest sister Darlene and her late husband Mark, youngest sister Lisa (Ben), and his eldest brother Gary (Kathy).

He is survived by his eldest son William “Bill” Jr (Caroline), his middle son Ronnie (Shannon), former son-in-law David Sr., and “daddy’s little girl” Kristy. He is also survived by his brothers Ralph “Binky” (Luana), Kevin “Duke” (Traci), and Joseph “Joe” (Beverly). He leaves behind 8 grandchildren Ronald Jr. “RJ”, Christian, Cameron, Braden, Wiley III, Brianna, David Jr, and Dominick; 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

We also cannot forget the love of his life, his ex-wife Linda.
Bill lived his life the way he wanted to, on his terms, right up to the end. He has always said he wanted Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” played at his funeral, because he claimed he always did life his way!

“I’m the one that has to die, when it’s time for me to die, so let me live my life the way I want to live”, Jimmy Hendrix.

Family and friends are welcome on Saturday October 4th, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center located at 3556 W.130th Cleveland, Ohio 44111 where funeral services will be held at 4:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation toward the funeral expenses.
