Virginia Sanabria

Virginia Sanabria, age 83, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025. She was born on May 21, 1942, in Guayama, Puerto Rico, to her loving parents, Evarista Cruz and Alejandro Torres.

Beloved wife of Candelario Sanabria, Virginia was the devoted mother of Mildred (Evan) Silva, Wilfredo Sanabria, Lucy (Juan) Capeles, Jaime (Carmen) Sanabria, Juan Sanabria, and Maria (Carlos) Lopez. She was a cherished grandmother to Carmen, David, Christopher, Angel, Nicholas, Teresa, Jessica, Juancito, Jose, Carlos, Rico, Anthony, and a proud great-grandmother to 24.

Virginia found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved to cook for her family, tend to her flowers, and challenge herself with crossword puzzles. Above all, she treasured time spent with her loved ones.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 10 a.m., at La Sagrada Familia Parish 7719 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102 (please meet at church). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
