Vickie Lynn Stroup

Vickie Lynn Stroup (Nee. Martin), passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 73. She was born on March 3, 1950, in Beckley, West Virginia, to her parents Franklin Martin and Irene Crawford.

Vickie was a devoted and loving mother to her children, Sherrie Stroup, Pamela Breeden (Mark), and Barbara Kuzmins (Pete). Her family meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Vickie found immense joy in being a grandmother to Brad Stroup, Brian Caso, Kristin Kostelinck (Kevin), Mark Osborne, Derek Breeden, Brandi Stroup, Max Kuzmins, and Lillian Kuzmins. She was also blessed to be a great-grandmother to Evan, Serenity, Jax, Evie, Kevin, Gavin, and Sebastian.

In addition to her role as a dedicated mother and grandmother, Vickie shared a special companionship with Roger Smith. They found comfort and happiness in each other's company, providing unwavering support throughout their journey together.

Vickie was not only a loving and devoted mother, but she was also a cherished sister. She is survived by her siblings Franklin Martin (Bridgett), Carol Gunnoe (Danny), Gene Martin (Debra), and Kenny Martin. They shared a special bond and created many cherished memories together throughout their lives.

Vickie had a talent for sewing, and it was a passion that brought her both creativity and solace. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles in her spare time. Beyond her love for sewing and puzzles, Vickie also found great pleasure in dining out, savoring delicious meals in the company of her family and friends.
