Valerie D. Bobincheck

Valerie D. Bobincheck, a beloved wife, mother and friend, passed away suddenly on September 6, 2023, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born on November 15, 1951, in the same city to her parents Donald J. Blaha and Marie Bostelman.

Valerie dedicated her life to caring for others as both a nurse and a teacher. Her passion for helping people was evident in every aspect of her work. As a nurse, Valerie went above and beyond to ensure the comfort and well-being of her patients. Her kind and compassionate nature provided solace to those in need during their most vulnerable moments.

In addition to nursing, Valerie also had a profound impact as an educator. She possessed a natural talent for teaching and inspired countless students throughout her career. Valerie's dedication to her students was unwavering, consistently going the extra mile to foster an environment of growth and learning. Her patience, wisdom, and passion for education left an indelible mark on the lives of all those she taught.

Valerie was a dedicated practitioner of martial arts, holding two black belts in karate. She not only mastered the art form but also generously shared knowledge and passion as a karate instructor, positively impacting the lives of her students.

Valerie had an insatiable curiosity that extended far beyond her professional pursuits. One of her greatest joys in life was learning languages. Fluent in many tongues, she possessed a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and traditions. Valerie's love for travel accompanied by her husband Bob allowed them to explore different countries together, immersing themselves fully in the beauty of each unique place they visited.

Valerie cherished her time in Washington, where she and her devoted husband, bob, built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Together, they were blessed with the joy of raising their beloved daughter, Brooke, who was the light of Valerie's life. Alongside their roles as parents, Valerie and Bob co-owned a cherished book store, where they shared their passion for literature with the community. Their store was not only a hub of knowledge but also a welcoming space for all who sought the solace and inspiration found within the pages of a good book. Over the course of 50 years, they created a home that was a testament to their shared values of unity and acceptance, and their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them. Together, they weathered life's challenges and celebrated its triumphs, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to be a part of their journey.

Beyond her professional accomplishments and hobbies, Valerie deeply cherished her family and friends. She leaves behind her devoted husband Robert Bobincheck, their daughter Brooke, and Penny Blaha - her loving sister. Valerie's immense capacity for love attracted numerous friends into her life who became extensions of her family.

In addition to her loving family, Valerie was a beacon of friendship to many, with cherished connections spanning across the country and around the globe. Her warm heart and open spirit drew people to her, creating bonds that transcended borders and distances. Valerie D.
