It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Timothy Allen Roth, who departed this life on January 4, 2026, at his residence in Parma, Ohio. Born on February 4, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, Timothy leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and cherished memories.
Timothy served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1973, embodying the values of dedication and commitment. Following his military service, he went on working as a dedicated letter carrier, he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly nature. In his life, he found joy through his passions for movies, bowling, NASCAR, and cheering on all Cleveland sports teams. Most of all, he cherished the shining stars of his life, his beloved grandchildren.
He is survived by his devoted wife of more than 54 years, Gladys Roth, his lifelong partner in love. Timothy will be lovingly remembered by his children, Heather Novak (Robert) and MaryEllen Good (David) and by his grandchildren, Bayleigh Good, Justin Novak (Briana), Alexander Novak (Madelyn), Nolan Good, Violet Novak, and Henry Good. His warmth and kindness were further extended through his siblings: Judith Hein (Bruce), Joyce Zavatchen (Joe), Barb Arthur (Brian), Brian Pelgar (the late Loreen), Sandra Morrison (Eugene), and Renee Roth. Timothy was also an uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews, who will carry forward his spirit of familial love.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Quentin Roth, Jane Obermayer, and his stepmother Beverly Roth, as well as his brother James Roth (Joyce), and sister, Cheryl Pelgar.
A memorial service will be planned, and Timothy will be interred at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date, where he will rest in peace. He will always be remembered for his laughter, kindness, and the love he bestowed upon his family and friends.
