Timothy James Hopkins

Timothy James Hopkins, affectionately known as "Champ," was born on June 29, 1965, to Rosa Hardy and Edward Pennington. He peacefully departed this earthly life on December 29, 2024.

Tim leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories with his loving mother, Rosa, his brother Jimmie Hopkins, and sister Ladonna (Richard) Haynes. He will also be deeply missed by his uncles Bertram Clark, Allen Clark, Terence (Lori) Clark of Akron, Ohio, Demetrius (Carolyn) Clark, and Mosheh Ben Abraham of Union City, Georgia, as well as his aunts Mary Clairmont and Risa (Eddie) Harris. His beloved niece Jimya Marie Hopkins, nephews Raymond, George, Brandon, George, and Suantai Burgess, along with nieces Ebonie Hopkins, Ronessha Hopkins, Chiffon Groves, and Hayle Hopkins, will forever hold his memory close.

Tim also shared a special bond with his cousins and his adopted brother, Henry (Jamilla) Joiner of Phoenix, Arizona, and was blessed with many friends and brothers and sisters in Christ who will continue to honor his spirit.

Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. until time of Homegoing Service at 12 p.m., at Anointed Gates Church 800 E 152nd St, Cleveland, OH 44110
