Thomas J. Hendrickson

Thomas Joseph Hendrickson, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, at the age of 88.

Born on June 16, 1938, Thomas was a proud Cleveland native who carried a deep love for his hometown throughout his life. He was an enthusiastic fan of Cleveland sports and enjoyed following his favorite teams through both the good times and the not-so-good times.

Thomas proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He had a passion for golf, horse racing, and visiting the casino. He also enjoyed spending time in Florida, where he appreciated the sunshine, warmth, and opportunity to relax and be with family.

Above all, Thomas treasured his family. He was a devoted father and father-in-law to William (Joe'l) Hendrickson, David (Lisa) Hendrickson and Steven (Marilyn) Hendrickson. He was a proud grandfather to Steven (Brianna), Brandon (Tessa), Jacob (Kaysee), Brian, David, and Olivia Hendrickson, and a loving great-grandfather to Maeve Hendrickson. Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ken Hendrickson and Beatrice Benedict, and his dear siblings, Mary Peterson and Jean Falkenberg.

Thomas will be remembered for his deep love of family, coaching his sons in sports, his enjoyment of life, and the many wonderful memories he created with those closest to him. His presence, stories, and love will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly and who will carry his memory in their hearts for generations to come.

Rest in peace, Dad. You will always be loved, always be remembered, and always be a part of our family.
