Thelma M. Dingess

Thelma M. Dingess, age 78, passed away on July 23, 2024. She was born on June 3, 1946, in Richmond, Indiana, to her loving parents, the late Monroe and Anna Filby. Thelma was the beloved wife of the late Leon Dingess.

She was a devoted mother to her children Gerald (deceased), Daniel, and Gail Spurgeon. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Edward, Aaron, Kayla, Daniel Jr., Dylan, James, and Victor Spurgeon, and was a loving great-grandmother to many. Thelma was also a dear sister to Rose Filby, Vaughn Filby, Glenna Thornburg, and the late Phyllis Amburn, Joan Lundy, and Vernie Filby. She was a treasured aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.

Thelma had a passion for television, especially her soap operas, and found joy in playing with her three dogs. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
