Susan Lynn “Sue” Cambarare, passed away suddenly at her residence on December 26, 2025. She was 74 years old.
A native of Lorain, Ohio, she was born on September 29, 1951, to her parents, the late Joseph D. and Glenna Jean (nee Blackford) Cambarare.
Susan graduated from Admiral King High School in 1970. Following graduation, she was employed for 30 years with The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Lorain County/Elyria Post 47, serving as a dispatcher and then a driver’s examiner, before retiring in 2008 as a secretary.
She loved spending time at home. She was quite the handyperson. Enjoyed baking, especially her always-requested, delicious Walnut Torte Birthday cakes! When she wasn't outside, meticulously working on her yard or keeping her pool crystal clear, you could find her on the golf course. Susan enjoyed being outdoors camping, boating, and fishing. She also loved traveling to the mountains of Gatlinburg, TN, the beaches of Hilton Head, SC, and Casinos near or far.
A woman with the biggest heart who never hesitated to lend a helping hand to any of her family and friends who needed her, Sue will be greatly missed.
Susan is survived by her brother, Joseph D. Cambarare, II of Cleveland; sister, Lisa D. Cambarare-Saunders of Amherst and her nephew, Dylan J. Saunders, of Cleveland. She was also a dear niece and a cousin of many.
