Sundra Joann Chalid

Sundra Joann Chalid, age 80, passed away October 10, 2023, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born on August 24, 1943, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to the late Francis Kelly Crofoot and Roberta Oleta DeBlaine.

Sundra was a devoted mother to Deborah DeBlaine, Michelle Carson, Lisa Williams, and the late Kimberly Carroll. Sundra was a cherished grandmother to 12, a great-grandmother to 11, and a great-great-grandmother to 1.

She was a beloved sister to Charles Rambo and a caring aunt to Daniel Daley. Sundra's love and warmth extended beyond her immediate family, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Sundra had a passion for learning and exploring the world around her. Her love for anthropology, trivia, and politics showcased her curious mind and keen intellect. She had a deep appreciation for culture and enjoyed engaging in conversations that broadened her understanding of the world.

A social spirit, Sundra found joy in spending time with friends and family. The senior center became a second home for her, where she formed lasting connections and shared laughter with fellow members.
