Steven Tyrone Freeman

Steven Tyrone Freeman sunrise was June 2nd, 1973, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born to the late Herbert (Herb) Freeman and Joyce Freeman (nee. Dunn). Raised in Mocksville, North Carolina, until Stevens’ teenage years he later then moved back to Cleveland, Ohio. He received his education from the Cleveland public school system but would eventually graduate from Job Corps in Indiana.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his devoted wife Monica Freeman; his siblings: Kwana (Daryl), Shannon, Keisha (deceased), and Raymond (Nikita); his children: Isis, Necole, Nautica, Steven, Enrique, Beautiful and Tatiana Freeman; and his beautiful grandchildren: Neviah, Janyah, Laylani, Iza'Belle, Miraya, Nateisha, Bennie, Jalila-Rose, and Nino. 

Many know him as Bam, Steven, uncle or even Dad … some might even know his as the hulk.

Steven was a strong man, and not only did he prove that throughout his life, but he certainly proved that till the very end. He was a jack of all trades, and I mean all! From on the court playing basketball all the way to making a home cooked meal from scratch. He was an entrepreneur who had many ideas and different hustles but most of all he was the life of the party. He lit up every room he walked in with his smile and his kind words. When you were with Steven, you knew you were always safe and going to have a good time! He loved his family and bringing everyone together. Most importantly he was the best dad, son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, husband, and friend you could ask for. 

Steven departed from our lives on February 13, 2023. He will forever be missed.
