Sharon L. Travers

We are deeply saddened to share the loss of Sharon L. Travers on May 24, 2026.

Sharon lived for 61 amazing and adventurous years. She left behind beautiful memories that will forever remain in our hearts. Whether you met her for the first time or knew her for a long time, Sharon held a special place in your heart.

Especially mourning her loss are David G. Maurer , her loving partner of 30 years; her sister, Maureen Bauhof of Olmsted Falls; her brother, Kevin Travers of Brook Park; her niece, Beverly Willis of Baltimore, Maryland; and her nephews, Spencer and Alex, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish her memory always.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Donald R. Travers and Julia Eleanor Travers (nee Whalen); and her brothers, Richard J. Travers, Dennis M. Travers, and Donald Travers.

Sharon graduated from Midpark High School and kept her roots in Brook Park and Middleburg Heights.

A gentle soul and hard worker, Sharon filled our lives with laughter, love, and kindness. She lived life to the fullest, and her larger-than-life attitude kept her going, as well as everyone around her. Sharon spent her entire life serving others, and she did it with ease, professionalism, and laughter. She never forgot a face and made everyone feel at home.

Sharon’s warmth and laughter will always be remembered. She may no longer be with us, but her tenacious spirit lives on in our hearts.
