Sergio Hernandez Zuniga, age 40, passed away on September 6, 2026. He was born on April 30, 1986, in Cadereyta de Montes, Queretaro, Mexico, to his loving parents, Hortensia Zuniga and Agustin Hernandez.
Sergio was the beloved husband of Crystal Christina Hernandez and devoted father of Benjamin, Catalyna, Camila, and his stepdaughters, Bella and Savannah. He was a dear brother to Eusebio Hernandez, Manuel Hernandez, Rodolfo Hernandez, Maria Paz Hernandez, Arsenio Hernandez, Antonio Hernandez, Martha Hernandez, Ofelia Hernandez, Sofia Hernandez, Agustin Hernandez, Jesus Hernandez, and Gabriel Hernandez.
He was a treasured uncle to Raul Hernandez, Hermenia Hernandez, Saturnino Hernandez, Jairo Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, Eva Ramirez, Marisol Ramirez, Juan Ramirez, Adan Ramirez, Evelia Hernandez, Daniela Hernandez, Mariana Hernandez, Ernesto Hernandez, Arle Hernandez, Valeria Ramirez, Patricio Ramirez, Marilu Hernandez, Itzel Hernandez, Orlando Hernandez, Ismael Hernandez, Alejandra Hernandez, Alfonso Ramirez, Elena Ramirez, Jose Luis Garcia, Lizette Garcia, Elias Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Maria Guadalupe, Bryan Hernandez, Emmanuel Hernandez, Montserrat Hernandez, Gabriel Hernandez, Jimena Hernandez, and Gael Hernandez.
Sergio is also lovingly remembered by his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Celia Ramirez, Juan Ramirez, Olga Ramirez, Jorge Ramirez, Sofia Ramirez, Modesta Diaz, Luz Maria Ramirez, and Paulina Ramirez.
Sergio took great pride in his work as a roofer and found his greatest joy in being a father. He loved listening to music and watching soccer, but above all, he cherished the time spent with his family. His loving presence, hardworking spirit, and devotion to those he loved will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111. Interment Panteon Municipal de Villa Progreso (Queretaro, Mexico).
