Sandra Lee Stavenger

Sandra Lee Stavenger was called home by God at 4:25am on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. After a long year battling her body, Sandra was able to be surrounded by the love of her daughter Michelle and granddaughter Stephanie when the time came. Sandra was greeted in heaven by her parents, Winifred and Lynn Miller, her best friend, Lillian Hodges, and generations of family and friends.

Sandra was born in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Garrettsville Public Schools, where she graduated from James A, Garfield High School on May 29, 1958. She attended Hiram College, completing her Bachelor of Arts in June of 1963. Afterwards, Sandra entered the workforce to care for her family.

Sandra welcomed a daughter, Michelle Renee, on December 28th, 1967, raising her in a generational home in Twinsburg, Ohio. Her granddaughter, Stephanie Mae, joined the long line of women on March 16, 1997. It is a joy to everyone that Sandra was able to attend Stephanie’s wedding last year in Hocking Hills, Ohio.

Sandra loved watching sports on TV, especially Baseball and Figure Skating. She was a big supporter of our Cleveland Sports teams and loved watching the Summer and Winter Olympics every two years.

Sandra was a dedicated disciple of God. She attended Faith United Methodist Church for the majority of her adulthood.

The celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at Faith United Methodist Church in Twinsburg, Ohio on October 24th, 2026. It will be a private service with a luncheon to follow.
