Samir Santana

Samir Santana, age 34, passed away on December 1, 2025. He was born on June 29, 1991, to his loving parents, Liston Santana, Sr., and Jenny Santana. Beloved father of Yerimiel Veras-Rojas, Arielle Lee Maze, and Leo Rey Delmar Maze. Dear brother of Nicole Mattera (Deanne Mattera), Liston Santana, Jr. (Damaris Dorta), Brianna Santana (Edward Mauras), Jonathan Quinones (Yesenia Perez), Yandel Santana, and Natalie Young. Treasured uncle of fifteen nieces and nephews, and a loving grandson of Concepcion Diaz. He was also a cherished nephew of Leticia Santana and Linda Santana. He is also remembered by the mothers of his children, Yamira “Yara” Veras Rojas and Kassandra L. Maze.

Samir enjoyed fishing, watching old Asian films, drawing and painting, and finding peace in the outdoors. He had a natural talent for inventing and building things, always creating something with his hands and imagination. He loved to reminisce about home, carrying those memories close and sharing them with others. Samir’s gentle spirit and warm presence touched everyone around him, and he will be deeply missed by his family and all who loved him.
