Samantha Renee Elam, age 49, passed away on July 21, 2026. She was born on September 6, 1976, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her loving mother, Rebecca L. Elam.

Samantha was the dear sister of Ricco Elam, David Daugett, DaMyra Daugett, Damien Daugett, Kevin Nichols, and Nathan Nichols. She was a treasured aunt to Jordan Burton, Justice Howard, Journe Howard, Jace Howard, Jazmyn Howard, and Jubilee Bonner, and a proud great-aunt to her beloved great-nephew, Jehial Burton.

Samantha found joy in reading and writing and had a deep love for animals. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she found comfort and inspiration in God and the Bible. Creative by nature, she delighted in designing dresses for Barbie dolls, playing cards with family and friends, and listening to pop, R&B, and gospel music. She will be remembered for her creativity, kind spirit, and the love she shared with those closest to her.
