Sabrina Christina Stein

December 16, 1974 — April 3, 2026

Cleveland, Ohio

Sabrina Christina (née Wild) Stein of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away in Youngstown, Ohio, at the age of 51 during the evening of Friday, April 3, 2026, surrounded by some of her most loved ones after months of health complications.

She was born in Cleveland on December 16, 1974, to her mother Susan Elaine Wild (née Jones) and her late father Ernie James Wild, Sr., who raised her to be the unique woman she was alongside her two brothers.

At the age of 22, Sabrina met her husband, Jürgen Stein, and soon after learning his language, moved to his home country of Germany, where she devoted a great part of her life to raising her three children. She took immense pride in and supporting her husband by keeping their home during their long and exemplary marriage. After being devastated by her husband’s death in 2018, Sabrina moved back to the United States in 2019 to find comfort in reuniting with her family and childhood friends. In a pursuit of new love and a new purpose, she met Aaron Poturica in late 2024, who offered his greatest support and stayed by her side, easing her struggle during her last weeks as her health was declining.

Sabrina found great joy in cycling, painting, traveling, cooking and baking countless international dishes, leading home improvement projects, researching her family’s history and meeting new and interesting people from numerous places around the world and learning about their cultures and traditions. She always dreamed about becoming a teacher and she spent time volunteering as a substitute teacher teaching Arabic at a German school.

Sabrina is survived by her fiancé Aaron Isaac Poturica, daughter Emily Maureen Stein, sons Wesley David Stein and Tyler Owen Stein, mother Susan Elaine Wild (née Jones), stepfather Larry Richards, brothers Ernie James Wild Jr. and Bradley Scott Wild, sister-in-laws Samantha Lynn Wild (née Rohland) and Cassie Ann Wild (née McCune), nieces Brittany Nicole McCune, Carley Augustina Wild, Brooke Jaelyn Elaine Wild, Katlin Rose Wasielewski, Jessica Bettis and Savanah Bettis and nephews Bradley Scott Hozjan, Tyler James Wild, Matthew David McCune, Justin David Wasielewski and Brandon Bettis.

She was an amazing friend to many people around the world, a dear daughter, sister and aunt and a loving mother and wife. She will forever be in the hearts and memories of all who knew her and will be missed dearly.
