Born November 20, 1916 passed away November 26, 2011. Beloved wife for 46 years to the late Leonard Hettinger. Daughter of the late Edward and Frieda Shestag. Sister of the following deceased: Lawrence, Louise Kappel, Kenneth and Betty Strunk. Beloved aunt of Barbara “Barb” (Richard) Metzler, Sherrill “Sherry” (Patrick) Boyce, Carol (Sander) Sutton, Nancy Furry (deceased), Darrell “Pete” (Bev) Kappel, Donald (Elizabeth) Kappel, Richard (Kathy) Kappel. Great-Aunt and Great- Great-Aunt to many. Retired from American Greetings Corp. Life member of Zion United Church of Christ and a 69 year member of The River Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. Funeral service Wednesday November 30, 2011 at 11:00am at the Bollinger-Bican Funeral Home 9810 Denison Ave. where the family will receive friends Tuesday from 3:00-8:00pm with Eastern Star services at 7:00PM. Interment Brooklyn Heights Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children c/o Al Koran Shrine, 1000 E. Edgerton Rd., Broadview Hts., Ohio 44147 or your local animal shelter.
