Rozann O'Connell

Rozann O’Connell (nee Wilson), age 90  Passed away at home on Friday, October 27, 2023.

Wife of the late Daniel for 59 ½ years.  Mother of Michael (Debbie) and Colleen.  Pet “Grandma” of Riley Daniel (dog) and Midnight (cat).  Daughter of the late James Victor and Kathleen (nee Whelan) Wilson.  Sister of the late Paul, Eugene, Donna Thomas and Albert Wilson.  Aunt, Great-Aunt and Great-Great Aunt.

Parishioner for 63 years at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Parma, Ohio. Rozann was faithfully cared for not only by her family but also her long time home health aide (24/7) and friend Charles Boscarelli (Cleveland Police, Retired).

All of her spiritual needs were faithfully attended by Fr. Lou Thomas, Fr. Josh Cochrac and Bob, Beverly (deceased) and Michael Coyle.

Rozann enjoyed all the simple good things that life had to offer: warm summer days, cool evenings, fall color leaves, first snowfall, the first spring rain, a good vanilla ice cream cone, and cheesy cheese pizza.

She prayed faithfully for all those in need especially for the sick and dying.

Rozann was laid to rest on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

Memorial Mass was held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Parma, Ohio.

All services were private.  She will lovingly be remembered and deeply missed.
