Roger W. Serenas, Sr., age 79, passed away on January 9, 2024. Born on December 22, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Samuel and Elsie (nee Ross) Serenas.

Roger was the beloved husband of Sandra (nee Halsey) Serenas for an incredible 61 years. Their enduring love served as an inspiration to all who knew them. Roger was a devoted father to Roger W. Serenas, Jr., Alan W. Serenas (Michelle), Karen L. Schallon (Ronald), and Ronald G. Serenas. His commitment to his family was unwavering, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, guidance, and warmth.

A proud grandfather, Roger found immense joy in the company of his grandchildren: Shawn, Sam, Kyle, Amanda, Michael, and great-grandchildren Emma, Roger, and Isabella. His love for family extended through the generations, creating lasting memories and bonds that will be cherished forever.

Roger was a dear brother to Eddie (Deceased), Sandy, Lonnie, and Beverly. His family was an integral part of his life, and he cherished the moments spent together, fostering a sense of unity and support.

Roger's interests were simple, and his joys were profound. He found pleasure in the simple pleasures of life, enjoying lottery tickets, scratch-offs, trips to the casino, and the tranquility of fishing. A sports enthusiast, he had a special place in his heart for baseball and other athletic pursuits.
