Robert Moody, Sr.

Robert Moody, Sr., age 57, passed away on July 30, 2026. He was born on September 20, 1968, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving mother, Polly Bailey (John). Robert was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Sloan.

Robert was a devoted father to Brandon Moody, Robert Moody, Jr., and Matthew Moody. He was the cherished grandfather of Malasia, Brandon, E'Maiya, E'Lyana, Milan, and bonus grandchildren Ever Jayce and Dustin. He also leaves behind his lifelong love, Melissa; his dear sisters, Nia (Demontalius) and Shaton; a host of treasured nieces and nephews; many cousins; and countless other relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Robert enjoyed cheering on the Cleveland Browns and expressing his love through cooking for family and friends. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for his family, and the many memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him.
