Robert Allen Molek, Sr.

Robert Allen Molek, Sr., age 62, passed away on February 7, 2023. Robert was born to the late Bernard and Clara (nee.Squirek) Molek on July 17, 1960. Robert is survived by his children: Robert, Rebecca, and Stephanie Molek; as well as 6 granchildren.

Robert proudly served his country for 5 years in the United States Marine Corps, where he was honorably discharged in 1981. In 1986, he joined the Cleveland Police Department and retired in 1994. Robert then moved to Colorado Springs to be with his children and grandchildren. He was a true hero, earning several awards for his acts of heroism on and off duty. Robert enjoyed drawing, airbrushing, painting, gold panning, hiking, and camping. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and lending a helping hand to others.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11:30 a.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
