Richard Maurice Thompson

Richard Maurice Thompson, lovingly known as "Old School," age 60, passed away on March 11, 2025. He was born on September 23, 1964, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents, the late David and Ann (nee Gentry) Thompson.

Richard was the beloved husband of the late Tammie Thompson, a dear brother to Robert (Katina) Zellers and Faye Thompson Davis, and a treasured uncle and great-uncle to a host of nieces and nephews. He was also a loving friend to many.

Richard had a passion for basketball and loved playing at Emery Court and the YMCA. A devoted fan of Ohio State and the Cleveland Cavaliers, he never missed a game and cheered his teams on with unwavering loyalty. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
