He was born on June 19, 1944, in Yauco, Puerto Rico, to his loving parents, the late Miguel Angel Ortiz Facio and Juana Eugenia Rosado Caraballo. Beloved husband of Angela Ortiz. Devoted father of Katherine Ortiz (Jose Rivera), Carmen Ortiz (Teodoro Perez), Damelia Ortiz (Alfonzo Lopez), Raymond Ortiz (Betzaida Perez), Jizael Ortiz (Lizmarie Zayas - deceased), Jonathan Ortiz, Andres Ortiz (deceased), and Dickson Ortiz (Melissa Roman). 

Cherished grandfather of Katherine Rivera, Angel M. Velez, Jose Rivera-Ortiz, Glorian Rivera, Alfonso L. Lopez, Damaris Lopez, Maria A. Felix, Alonzo Lopez, Pebbles Felix, Raymond J. Family and friends are welcome to gather at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St., Cleveland, OH 44111. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m., and on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 6 to 9 p.m. Additionally, on Saturday, July 27, 2024, visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a prayer service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
