Ramon Ortiz

Ramon Ortiz, age 80, passed away on March 24, 2026. He was born on October 22, 1945, in Yauco, Puerto Rico, to his loving parents, the late Juan Ortiz and Antonia Sanchez.

Ramon was the beloved husband of the late Mabel Ortiz. He was a devoted father to Raymond (Elizabeth) Ortiz, Marisol Ortiz (Alex Martinez), and Carlos A. Ortiz. He was a cherished grandfather to Javier Ortiz, Kiomara Biascochea, Olivia Roldan, Ramirez Roldan, Elisha R. Ortiz, Celine M. Ortiz, Mia Ortiz, Carlito A. Ortiz, Charlie Ortiz, Joey Ortiz, Sofia M. Ortiz, and Keyden Ortiz, and a proud great-grandfather of many.

He was the dear brother of Juanita Ortiz and Enrique Ortiz, and was preceded in death by his siblings Angel Ortiz, Otilia Ortiz, Julia Ortiz, and Pepe Ortiz. Ramon was also a treasured uncle to a host of nieces and nephews. Ramon also leaves behind his companion of 20 years, Lydia Pacheco, as well as her children and grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
