Rafael Antonio Farfan Santamaria

Rafael Antonio Farfan Santamaria, age 58, passed away on August 13, 2026. He was born on November 8, 1967, in Metalio, Sonsonate, El Salvador, to his loving parents, the late Rafael Antonio Farfan and Rosa Farfan.

Rafael was the beloved husband of Vilma A. Farfan and a devoted father to Cesar Rafael (Bianca Catrina) Santamaria, Wilfredo Santamaria, Rosibel Santamaria, and Claudio Israel Santamaria. He was the cherished grandfather of Mathias Israel Santamaria and Luca Rafael Santamaria, and a dear brother and treasured uncle.

Rafael was a dedicated soccer coach who took great pride in sharing his love of the game with others. He also enjoyed crafting his own clothes and spending time bowling or playing pool. He will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, the friendships he formed, and the many lives he touched throughout his life.

Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111. Interment West Park Cemetery.
