Quinten W. Maxey was born on May 4, 1976, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Worth Maxey and Vinnie Ruth Maxey. He was the youngest of three boys and the only child born to this union. Quinten attended Cleveland Public Schools and worked for the City of Cleveland.
Affectionately known as “Q,” Quinten loved his family, dogs, cars, and dancing. He had an adventurous spirit and a guaranteed way of making people laugh. Q was a daredevil, a jokester, and a dancing machine. If you ever wanted an adventure, a car ride with him or hopping on the back of his bike was the way to go. "Fast" was the only speed he knew, and he may have missed his calling as a NASCAR driver.
Quinten was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He lived life to the fullest, with no regrets, and never left without putting a smile on your face. His adventurous nature, unique ability to make people laugh, and simply being “Q” are just a few of the many reasons he will be deeply missed and forever loved.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, David Maxey, Quinten Curtis, and Quayshaun Curtis; his grandchildren, Davi’Anna Maxey, Jakobi Maxey, Xyla Davis, Faith Curtis, Hezekiah Curtis, Kiara Curtis, Tae Shaun Curtis, Nazuri Curtis, and Nazir Curtis; his mother, Vinnie Ruth Maxey; his brothers, Bryant Goshay and Terrance Goshay; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Deonte Harris, and his father, Worth Maxey.
