Pete had a mind filled with curiosity. He loved thinking about the wonders of the world and spending time with Pete meant having the deepest conversations about life and the meaning of it all. He was an artist and enjoyed experimenting with different mediums and making art for his children. Pete’s love language was sharing the songs that meant something to him with others to listen to, so that they might understand his feelings.

One of his favorite places to be, though, was on the river. He couldn’t remember a time before he loved fishing. Being in the Metro Parks or on a pond or a lake was a safe haven for him - one of the places he found peace. He loved bringing walleye home and cooking it up for his family. He dreamt of buying a boat again one day to get back out on the water. His love for fishing and nature lives on through his children.

So, if you’re wondering why he’s missing; well, he’s gone fishing.
