August 19, 1961 - March 28, 2024
Patricia Rose Davis Heise Scritchfield Lewis, age 62, of Magnolia, Ohio left her earthly body and went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, March 28, 2024. She only changed addresses.
Patty was a woman of deep faith and strong convictions. A born again Christian, she loved God and His Holy Word, and she was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, wife, and cat mommy. She worked as a substitute school teacher in Cleveland and had an extensive career as a group travel coordinator and tour planner in the Canton/Massillon area. She was a 30+ year member of the Starfleet Star Trek fan association and participated and wrote exams for the online Starfleet Academy platform. She was an Admiral and was chapter president and longtime member of USS Arizona NCC-71839 in Barberton and Canton. She loved reading and learning, laughing, her Jane Austen to Star Wars, genealogy, beading and crafts, making her own beaded Christmas ornaments, puzzles and Words with Friends, traveling, all kinds of music, and she loved her electronics!
She was preceded in death by her father James J. Davis of Cleveland, her father in law Felix R. Lewis of Bristol TN, her nephew Eric Davis of Middleburg Heights, former husband and longtime friend Roger Scritchfield of Barberton, and her beloved dog Cleo and several kitties.
Patty will be extremely missed by those she leaves behind: her husband of nearly 27 years, Robert R. Lewis of Magnolia OH and Bristol TN, her mother Ellen L. Davis of Cleveland, her son Uriah J. (Jeanne) Heise of West Linn OR and grandsons Zachery and Alexander Heise, both of Massillon OH, and Tobias and Carter Heise and, the light of her life, her granddaughter Rylee Heise, all of West Linn OR. Other survivors include brothers Kenneth S. (Marina) Davis of Cleveland and Jeremy J. (Rachel) Davis of Middleburg Heights, mother in law Lena M. South of Murfreesboro TN, sister in law Rebecca S. Lewis of Bristol TN, and several beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special mention to her dearest best friends Barbara Buffington of Barberton, Carolyn Stach of Roanoke VA, Ruth Green Lane of Akron, and Amy Lynn Harris of Massillon, her daughter from another mother.
Patty and her family would like to send their love and very special thanks to Dr. Tony Haeufgloeckner, DO and the staff of Aultman Medical Group Canton South; the beautiful and caring doctors, nurses, staff, and volunteers at Ames Family Hospice Center at the Hospice of the Western Reserve; the amazing Angelique Foss and the Music Therapy staff at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center; and all her doctors, nurses, caregivers, and angels at UH Cleveland Medical Center, Aultman Hospital, and Aultman Home Health Care.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 1 p.m., at West Park Cemetery, 3942 Ridge Road, Cleveland, OH 44144.
