Oda Willene Murphy

Oda Willene Murphy, age 83, passed away on March 9, 2026. She was born on March 20, 1942, in Seco, Kentucky, to her loving parents, the late Bill Murphy and Sarah Smith.

Oda was the beloved mother of Michelle Murphy and the late Vivia Caldwell. She was a cherished grandmother of Amanda Dockery and Christopher Caldwell, and a proud great-grandmother of Diamond Caldwell, Christopher Caldwell, Jr., Alexis Dockery, J.J. Dockery, and Leland Dockery. She was the dear sister of Reba Murphy and the late Elizabeth Murphy, Betty Murphy, Peggy Mangan, Loretta Newton, and Jean Franklin.

Oda was a treasured aunt to a host of nieces and nephews. She was the loving companion of James Ball and a dear friend of Melody Ball. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
