Nancy Marie Cook

Nancy Marie Cook, age 79, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023. She was born to the late Berton and Alta (nee. Terrell) Williams, on March 29, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Nancy will be remembered for her fierce independence and adventurous spirit. Her love of exploration and discovery led her to experience all that life had to offer, and her courage in the face of the unknown will always be an inspiration to those who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth R. Cook, Jr.; grandson, Tyler Getty; granddaughter, Samantha Getty; great grandchildren, Emma, Rylee, and Thomas; brother, Larry Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Denise M. Getty and sister, Joanon Mahoney.

Family and friends received Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the SLONE & CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 13115 Lorain Ave., Cleveland, OH 44111, from 2 - 4 p.m. & 6 p.m., until time of service at 7:30 p.m.
