Michael Streisel

Michael Streisel, age 78, passed away on May 15, 2025. He was born on December 29, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents, the late John A. Streisel and Marie L. Bolton.

He was the former spouse of Kay and a beloved stepfather to Tony and Dodie Garibay. He will be deeply missed by his siblings: John P. (Dixie) Streisel, Joe Streisel, Margaret Seguin (Phil), Mary Craddock (Doc), Teresa Brault (Dennis), Chris Daniels (Bill), and Rita Streisel. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Streisel.

Michael was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served in West Germany during the Cold War. Michael was a retired Operations Manager for Maris Equipment Co. in Carrollton, Texas. He enjoyed fishing charters on Lake Erie, playing Pinochle, drinking good scotch, watching Fox News, and indulging in gourmet dining.

Michael will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Inurnment will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 2:45 p.m., at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Rd. Seville, OH 44111 (please meet at cemetery by 2:30 p.m.).
