Merrick B. Black, age 66, passed away on December 7, 2022. Merrick was the fifth and last child born to Amy and Lorenzo Black in St. Andrew, Jamaica. He graduated from Wallgrove high school, where he also trained as a lifeguard.
He worked at United States Postal Service for many years as a driver, where he fulfilled his love of traveling. He often traveled with his family on road trips where he used his avid knowledge of geography and maps.
Merrick was a man of few words and massive knowledge, he enjoyed reading his scripture and many other genres of books. He often dominated at checkers or dominoes.
