Mercedes Acevedo Santos

Mercedes Acevedo Santos, age 57, passed away on August 27, 2025. She was born on February 16, 1968, in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, to her loving parents, Maria Isabel Santos Alicea and Jose Luis Acevedo Berber.

Mercedes was the beloved wife of Carlos Ramos Lend, and the devoted mother of Lillian Cruz Acevedo, Mayra Alejandra Cruz Acevedo, Jose Cruz David Acevedo, and Ricardo Rodriguez. She was a cherished grandmother, a dear sister, and a treasured aunt.

Mercedes had a joyful spirit and found great happiness in singing and cooking, sharing her talents with family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 2 p.m., at Riverside Cemetery 3607 Pearl Rd. Cleveland, OH 44109 (please meet at gates by 1:45 p.m.).
