Mary M. Jones, age 88, passed away on February 6, 2026. She was born on August 31, 1937, in Roane County, West Virginia, to her loving parents, the late Farmer Lee and Minnie Bell Harper.
Mary was the beloved wife of Edwin Stanton Jones and the devoted mother of Marshall Edwin Jones, Shirley Ruth Tonkin, Pamela Belle Jones, Rodney Keith Jones (deceased), Jerome Stephen Jones, and Christopher Lee Jones (deceased). She was a cherished grandmother of Jennifer Mary Jones, Constance Beth Jewett, Melissa Renea Howard, Tiffany Leigh Tonkin, Devin Keith Jones, David Donald Rose, and Harvey Norman Rose, and many great-grandchildren.
Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Riverside Cemetery 3607 Pearl Rd. Cleveland, OH 44109 (please meet at cemetery gates by 10:45 a.m.).
