Mary Collette Darrah

Mary Collette Darrah, age 79, passed away on September 4, 2026.

Beloved daughter of Donald C. Darrah, MD and Eleanor Darrah (nea Van de Motter). Loving sister of Ann Ritty (nea Darrah) and Jane Darrah (deceased).

Mary was loved by many friends who spoke often of her being the life of the party. Later in life Mary advocated for and counseled many struggling with alcoholism. She was the author of the book "Sister Ignatia:Angel of Alcoholics Anonymous" which was published August 31, 2001.

Mass in her honor will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11 a.m., in the chapel at St. Augustine Manor 7801 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102, with private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
