Mary Ballash (nee Balog) age 84
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family April 2, 2012. Loving wife, sweetheart and best friend of George (deceased). Caring mother of Ceola Iarussi (nee Albondante) (Guy) and Nicholas Albondante (Rinnie). Beloved grandmother of Gina Mullin (Paul), Diana Albondante (Anthony), Mary Albondante and Nichole Tritsarolis (Gary). Great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and Baba. Preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Elizabeth Balog. Sister of Dolores Leffler (Ernie) (deceased) and Andrew Balog (Anne). Beloved Aunt, Great-Aunt and Step-grandmother. Mary worked at the federal building as a computer programmer before retiring to Florida with her husband George, moving back after his death, she volunteered at Regina Health Center, Marymount Convent and St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Special thanks to Michele, Nichole and Dr. Prateek Mendiratta for their constant care. Mary will be especially missed by her faithful doggie companion Baby. Because of her humor and smile, Mary was blessed with many old and new friends. Services were private and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in memory of Mary, to the Cleveland Animal Protective League 1729 Willey Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44113
