Martin M. Kendra, age 94, passed away on June 30, 2026. He was born on November 15, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents, the late Joseph and Anna (née Kubis) Kendra.

Martin was a proud United States Army Veteran who served his country with honor.

Beloved companion of the late Marian Hanna. He was the dear brother of the late Joseph, John, and Steve Kendra. Brother-in-law of the late Sophie, Betty, and Bernadine Kendra. Uncle of Mary Kendra (Joel Gorski), Frances (Tom), Angelo, and Ann (Greg) Bronczyk, and the late Stephen (Diane). Dearest friend of Kathleen Hanna.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at Ennis Court for the excellent care and compassion they provided to Martin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Clement Church, 2022 Lincoln Ave., Lakewood, OH 44107. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the church beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Martin's memory.
