Marlene Joyce Puckett

Marlene Joyce Puckett, a loving wife, mother, and friend, passed away on May 14th, 2023 at the age of 84 in Cleveland, Ohio. Marlene was born in Lonaconing, Maryland on April 18th, 1939 to William Wilson and Viola Barnes.

Marlene will always be remembered as a caring and devoted wife to her husband Harold Puckett. Together they built a life full of joy and love that served as an inspiration for so many others. Marlene's unconditional love was not limited to her husband as she extended her kindness and compassion to her children.

Marlene could light up any room with her infectious smile and kind nature. Her warm personality allowed her to form deep connections with many family members and friends who were lucky enough to be part of her life. The love and kindness that she poured into those relationships will always be cherished.

Marlene's passing is deeply felt by many including her surviving children: Michael W. Barbour, Richard Alan Barbour, Deborah Phillips, Robin Lynn Barbour along with other family members and friends. Although they are heartbroken at this loss, they are also grateful for the memories that Marlene leaves behind.

Marlene is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Puckett; children, Ronald Barbour & Tonya Sue Phillips, and parents, William Wilson & Viola Barnes.

As we say goodbye to Marlene Joyce Puckett in this physical world, let us remember all the laughter she brought into our lives and all the joy she created during her time with us. In this way, we continue to honor her legacy. May she rest in peace knowing how much she was loved by many!
