Mark Alan Honaker, age 50, passed away on September 20, 2025. He was born on March 1, 1975, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents, the late Dallas Lee and Shirley Ann Honaker.
Beloved brother of Kevin Honaker, Tracey Honaker, Michael Honaker, and the late Leroy Hager. Treasured uncle of Leroy Hager, Jr., Keith Hager, Steven McKenty, Angelina Snopel, Anthony Snopel, Aaron Cafego, Nathan Honaker, Katie Honaker, and the late Dallas Honaker. Cherished great-uncle of Layla Cooley, Lolah Cooley, Lamir Brown, Abby Hager, Mariana Hager, and Channing Zarin.
Mark had a warm and vibrant personality that drew people to him. He loved music in every form—whether singing, dancing, or simply enjoying a good beat, he could turn any moment into a celebration. He had a special gift for making people laugh, often with quick wit or playful humor that brightened the room. His easygoing nature made him someone who could get along with anyone, and he had a way of making everyone feel welcome.
He was deeply creative and found joy in horticulture, gardening, and floral design. Mark had an eye for beauty and could turn simple flowers into stunning arrangements, a talent that reflected his gentle spirit and attention to detail. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life too, never missing the chance to relax, share a drink—especially Fireball—with friends, and savor the good times.
Mark was truly a “gentle giant,” loved by many and remembered as the life of the party, no matter the occasion. His laughter, kindness, and genuine heart will be dearly missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
