Maria Montanez

Maria Montanez, age 76, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024. Born on January 10, 1948, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, she was the beloved daughter of the late Carmen and Geraldo Figueroa.

Maria was a devoted mother to Sandra Figueroa, Agustin Montanez Jr., Jose Montanez, and Wilbert Montanez. She was also a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, a dear sister, and a treasured aunt. Maria shared a significant part of her life with her ex-husband, Agustin Montanez Sr.

Known for her love of bingo, Maria found joy in the simple pleasures of life and brought happiness to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
