Maria Luisa Caraballo

Maria Luisa Caraballo passed away peacefully on August 21, 2023, at the age of 75. Born on March 29, 1948, in Utuado, Puerto Rico, Maria was the daughter of the late Ramon Gabriel and Isabel Ramirez. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever be held close to the hearts of her family and friends.

Maria's life was a testament to the strength of family bonds and the joy of simple pleasures. As the beloved wife of the late Eli Caraballo, Maria's marriage was a cornerstone of her life. Together, they navigated life's challenges and shared moments of laughter and love. Her dedication as a wife was matched only by her unwavering commitment as a mother.

Maria was a nurturing and loving mother to her children, David Caraballo and Nayda Holt. Her guidance, wisdom, and warmth were central to her role as a parent, and her legacy will be carried forward through her children's lives.

The heart of Maria's joy was found in her role as a grandmother. Anthony, Sydney, Javier, James, and Logan were the fortunate recipients of her boundless love and affection. She found immense pride in watching them grow and discover the world around them. The addition of Brooklyn, Naya, and Grayson as great-grandchildren further enriched her life with joy and laughter.

Maria shared a deep bond with her siblings: Oscar, Camilo, Herminio, Manuel, Ramon Juan, Amilcar, Luis, Ivan, Lucas, Norberto, Daisy, Carmen Maria, Iris, Menchy, Luz Nerida, and Fina. Her role as a sister was marked by unwavering love, guidance, and a sense of unity that brought the family together.

Maria's passions were a testament to her vibrant spirit. She found solace and contentment in walking amidst the beauty of nature, tending to her flourishing garden, experimenting with culinary creations, and capturing the world's moments through the lens of her camera. Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
