Lydia Davila

Lydia Davila, age 85, passed away on August 27, 2024. She was born on November 3, 1938, in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, to her loving parents, the late Julio Diaz Carrasquillo and Blasina Viera Guadalupe. Lydia was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Davila-Laureano. 

Lydia was a devoted mother to her children, Luis Antonio (deceased), Rafael Angel, and Carlos Ruben Davila. She was a cherished grandmother to Carlos Enrique Davila-Salvo. Lydia was a dear sister to Pedro, Estervina, Elisa, Angel Luis, and is now reunited with her late siblings Felipe, Fernando, Carmen, Juan, Natividad, Isabel, Julio, and Abraham Diaz Viera.

Lydia had a passion for gardening and dancing, and she loved spending time with her family. She had a special fondness for dogs and dolls, which brought her much joy throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 1 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
