Louise M. Reed

Louise M. Reed, age 71, passed away on August 21, 2024. Born on September 28, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio, Louise was the cherished daughter of the late William R. Anderson and Dorothy Mitchell. She was the beloved mother of Sherrita Anderson, Paul Anderson, Shamika Reed, Monda Reed Daniels (DeMont), Samuel Reed Jr. "Boy," and Sasha Reed. A loving grandmother, she is fondly remembered by her grandchildren: Latia, Tiant, Tyrell, Da'rion, Darren Jr., Dovontia, Cire, Eric Jr., Honesti, Kamori, Mikey (deceased), Destiny, Shajalique, Shadakwon, Nakhya, Paul Jr., Monique, Melissa, Keon, Ky'ere, Ke'oni, Markey, Beautiful, Michael, Latiesha, Jazzmyn, Deshawn, and James, as well as a host of great grandchildren. Louise was a dear sister to Laura Anderson, a treasured aunt to Violet Canant, and a devoted godmother to Bridgette Cook, Lil Ron, and Fernando (deceased). Lifelong best friend of Clair Cook (deceased). 

Louise gave her life to the Lord over 30 years ago and faithfully served Him throughout her life. Louise enjoyed sleeping, shopping, snacking, binge-watching TV, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved cooking big holiday meals for her family until she could no longer do so. She shared a close bond with her sister, Laura, and they cherished their shopping trips together. Louise will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 12 p.m., at Riverside Cemetery 3607 Pearl Rd. Cleveland, OH 44109 (please meet at gates by 11:45 a.m.).
