Louis C. Merker, Jr.

Louis C. Merker, Jr. age 68 Passed away on December 14, 2025.

Louis was the beloved husband of Jennifer Merker (nee Roark). They were married for 14 years and shared 23 years together. He was a devoted son of the late Elsie and Louis C. Merker, Sr. He was a loving brother to Donna Miller and her husband Scott, a proud uncle to Matt Miller and his wife Courtney and Lauren Jerome and her husband Dan.

Lou is also survived by his cherished dogs, Katie and Toby, who brought him great joy and companionship. Lou enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Myrtle Beach, Disney World and his yearly cruise to the Bahamas.

He found happiness in simple pleasures-- working in his yard, following NASCAR, cheering for the Carolina Panthers, keeping his car spotless, and spending time with animals, which he truly loved.

Family and friends are welcome for a Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 10:00am at St. Rita's Church 32820 Baldwin Rd., Solon, Ohio 44139

Lou will be remembered not only for his love of animals, and traveling, but also for the many moments he shared with those closest to him.
