Lorraine Carmeta Woodstock

April 25, 1962 — May 31, 2025

Cleveland, Ohio

Lorraine Carmeta Woodstock, age 63, passed away on May 31, 2025. She was born on April 25, 1962, in Montego Bay, Jamaica, to her loving parents, Allan and Rosamind Woodstock.

Lorraine attended Baracks Road Primary and Salt Spring All Age schools during her early years in Jamaica. In 2007, Lorraine migrated to the United States in pursuit of new opportunities and a better life for her family. She later welcomed Christ into her life, carrying her faith with grace and humility.

Lorraine had a vibrant sense of style that often left her younger siblings in awe of her wardrobe. She was hardworking, kind-hearted, and full of warmth—someone who made friends wherever she went. With a joyful spirit and a quick wit, Lorraine had a gift for making others laugh and lighting up every room she entered. She lived and worked faithfully until the very day she passed, embodying resilience and dedication in all she did. Most of all, she poured her heart into being the best mother she could be, a role she cherished deeply.

Lorraine was the beloved mother of Kady-ann Beckford-Jarrett (Patrick Jarrett) and Raneika Williams, cherished grandmother of Kimoy Harding, Yemoya Smith, Camion Coke, John H. Clarke, and Shavon Forrester, and proud great-grandmother of Zeniya Noble. She was the dear sister of Veronica Bleck, Byron Woodstock (Deceased), Sandra Woodstock, Ann-Marie Woodstock, Charmaine W. Shaw (Junior Shaw), Mark Woodstock, and Vanica Woodstock. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended relatives, and friends who will deeply miss her. Lorraine is also survived by one loving aunt and one loving uncle, who continue to carry forward the family’s legacy with strength and love. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her dear cousin Sonia Madden-Blake, whose unwavering support and kindness were a tremendous help during our time of need.
