Liba Sich

Liba was the loving mother of the late Karolyn Sich and two other estranged daughters. Devoted grandmother to Ashley Jupina (Steve),Taylor Knight (Marshall), and five other estranged grandchildren. Honorary “Gram” to: Danielle, Candace, Heather, Gracie, Dylan, Steph, Aubrey, Marissa, and Sky. Adoring fur Grammy to Trixie, Lola, Molly, and Nora. Long-time friend of Lynn and Dale Ettinger and Family, and the Murphy/Kovach Families. Liba will be greatly missed by many friends, both old and new, who showed up for her when most of her family chose to walk away.

Liba came to the US in 1968 for three months to visit with extended family. Three months turned into a lifetime, and she never made it back to her home country of the Czech Republic. After 57 years, she is finally going to be back with her wonderful sister, Hana Starkova, where her ashes will be interred amongst her parents’. Ashley and Taylor would like to thank the staff of North Olmsted Nursing and Rehabilitation (The Gardens of North Olmsted) and Heartland Hospice for the love and care they provided her with. In lieu of flowers, please spend time with your family and hold them tight. The days are long, but the years are so very short.” Donations can also be made to your local Animal Protective League.
